JH Robotics has over 23 years of experience in the areas of Machine Tool Loading and Unloading and in the Contract Manufacturing business. We have put that experience to use in developing a series of Universal Robotic Loaders capable of loading Machine Tools such as Turning Centers, Machining Centers, Grinders, EDM machines, etc.

As with all loaders, a large portion of the job is getting parts to and from the loader or the Input/Output devices. We have developed several Input/Output options for our loaders that will work for most parts and machines. The cells are designed and fabricated to fit most customer needs depending on your queue requirements, part size, weight, etc. We can solve all of your Automaton needs and give you the best return on your investment.

The following renderings show our MTL Loaders as stand alone units. It is important to consider the role they can play in an overall plan to start or continue your companie’s lean manufacturing concepts.

These cells are very flexible – there is a robot that can do much more than just load/unload parts. There are blank sides on the cell that the robot could access – this space can be used for many inline operations to complete a part or process.

• MULTIPLE JOBS – Consider adding more trays with different part numbers in them. Program such that different job numbers can be run where the parts can be held in the spindle and where operator intervention is not required to change a collet or chuck.
• AUTO GRIPPER CHANGE – If a gripper change is required to go from job #1 to job #2 then consider letting the robot automatically change it.
• GAUGING STATION – The robot can go to an automatic gauging station and JH Robotics can do the gauging station depending on the machine tool, provide auo tool compensation.
• REJECT PARTS – Rejected parts can be dropped in a simple chute or conveyor to remove them from inside the guarded system.
• STORAGE – Shelves for pallets can be added on the upper, lower or sides of the system as an option.
• PALLETS – Pallets can be machined for multiple parts or can be flipped over for additional parts.
• DEBURRING – In most cases, parts can be deburred before being returned to the pallet or before exiting the cell.
• WASHING – Simple wash operations can be performed with a washer remote module (separate from the main washer) that the robot can reach outside its standard motion path. The blank sides of the cell can be used for this.

The L or R designator refers to a loader on the left (L) or right (R) side of the machine tool.
