Leading the Way in Factory Automation

JH Robotics was established in April 1983 as a pick and place robot manufacturer with units priced for the low-end sector of the market.  From this, the company has diversified into a wide variety of products and services including designing and building special machines, contract manufacturing, assembly equipment, and FANUC Robotics integration.

In the mid 90's JH Robotics became an integrator for FANUC Robotics.  These robots have been used in many applications ranging from single turnkey cells to complete assembly lines with as many as ten robots per line in various applications.

In 2006 JH Robotics became an ESOP company and the employee owners are now carrying on the proud tradition of the company.

Highly trained and experienced staff

The engineering team at JH Robotics is experienced in both the mechanical and controls aspects of system design.  They share tasks between projects which allows each engineer to share the up-to-date technology and experience that they gain from each project they undertake.  One of our strengths in the automation special machine area, is that each project is lead by an experienced engineering project manager who takes a project from concept to installation. This includes scheduling, personnel management, design, testing, budget, and costing of the overall project.

The majority of the parts used to assemble the special machines are designed by the engineering team and manufactured in house by our trained and skilled manufacturing team.  All of the products are manufactured, assembled and tested at our 44,000 square foot facility located in Johnson City, NY.

The manufacturing team at JH Robotics not only has skilled tool makers, but also has highly trained production machine operators for contract manufacturing.  Each year our team manufactures hundreds of thousands of turned and machined parts to meet strict customer deadlines.  This also leaves room for the one or two part orders allowing JH Robotics to fill a unique supplier niche.

We Grow Along Side Our Customers

With an annual sales volume of between $5-$8 million we are small enough to personalize all accounts and yet large enough to assure our customers that we are capable of continued service.  JH Robotics has grown over the years to 35+ employees.

Sales throughout the United States, Canada and Europe include such companies as ASCO, Borg Warner, Branson Ultrasonics, Eastman Kodak, Emerson, General Dynamics, Goodyear, Hardinge, Hitachi Metals (HMAC), Ingersoll Rand, Kensey Nash, Lockheed Martin, Stryker, The Timken Company, Ward Flex, West Pharmaceutical, and the United States Postal Service to mention a few.  In every case, we have successfully met and exceeded the expectations of our clients.
